Honours ahred this week, remarkably with only one fluked black from Ian. It's still all open for either to have a strong weekend and either run away with the lead or to stage a comeback.

It's streaky, but it's four

In what should really have been a 3-0 win for Ian, James managed to sneaky away with a 2-1 victory today. After Ian fouled on the black (and potting it) in the first frame, he must have known that it wasn't going to be his day. He had two near clearances but failed to take advantage of his opportunities and James managed a 4 ball clearance in the last to take the honours for the week.

So, James depressed, Ian ill, it was always going to be a close run thing. We went through to the final ball on the final frame after two fairly comprehensive wins in the first two games traded. Ian can barely move, James has lost all energy including that to eat. It's been a fun day.
